History of the VILLA MARMARINE

About Siquijor Island

Villa Marmarine was established in July 2005 in the Island of Siquijor, Philippines. Under the Management of Japanese owners and it is ideal for families especially for long stay for this place feels like home.
There is also a beautiful beach most of Siquijor which is not touristy yet, the optimal location for people who want to spend a quiet moment.
It is the nearest from the Harbor with dive center, restaurant, and cottage among other resorts, it is homely resort. In the evening, fireflies fly around the cottage, algae can be seen in the sea, the sky filled with bright stars at night that amaze the tourist.
The cottages are equipped with private bathroom, hot and cold shower, refrigerator, cable TV, and access of internet through wireless connection.
In addition, our cottages has a wide range of accommodation type, from those who seeks cheap but yet comfortable and safe accommodation, we welcomes you to our backpackers room. While for those who wants to make their journey luxurious and elegant and extreme privacy, you can enjoy our executive/suite cottages.

It is the newest cottage in Villa Marmarine beach resort that was constructed in 2013. For those seeking tranquillity and privacy, these cottages fits you best because it is apart from the other cottages. It has a huge veranda where you can feel the sea breeze; you can have an over-looking on the vast sea from green colour to Blue Ocean even for the whole day. You can view the sunrise in the morning and even the magnificent sunset in the afternoon. This is one of the closest cottages to the sea. Even fireflies come inside the bathroom where the bathtub made of stone located. Regarding air-conditioning, there is also a small TATAMI ROOM and twin-QUEEN-SIZE bed. Automatic toiletry is popular in Japan, an automatic system in the comfort room. And these cottages were designed by Mrs Marie Harada, wife of the owner with having creativity in her field of designing.

The newly renovated 2 story family bungalow this November 2016. From fan room to air condition room both down stairs(one air con) and upstairs(one air con) with a large balcony facing on a green grass garden and a blue sea. You may enjoy and relax while the wind is blowing or you may enjoy reading a book while listening to the sound of the waves. First floor has one double size bed while it has 2 single beds in the loft. So this cottage can accommodate the maximum of 6 guests with extra mattress on the floor.

With a large balcony on the 1st floor and second floor facing on a green grass garden and a blue sea where you can relax and unwind. You can enjoy and relax while the wind is blowing or you may enjoy reading books while listening to the sound of the waves. First floor has one double size bed with Tatami. Second floor has 3 single bed. This newly renovated room has 2 private bathrooms and 1 comfort located on the 1st floor. This cottage can accommodate maximum of 7 guests with extra mattress on the floor.

This is also one of the best for those seeking tranquillity and privacy for has private balcony that apart from other, It is an air-conditioned cottage, with hot and cold shower. It has Double Queen-size bed.

Designed by Mrs Marie with a private Open-air bath tub where you can soak with privacy and comfort, hot and cold water. This is the best option for the families that wants to relax from city life like Manila. You can enjoy the sea view Balcony while you are relaxing on the hammock provided in the cottage. It is 2-storey cottage; first floor has 1 double-size bed, and has space for extra mattresses, small living room; while it has 2 single-beds upstairs and has also space for extra mattresses. This cottage can accommodate the maximum of 6 guests.

	MATO/TAKE
	(Deluxe family cottage)

These cottage are recommended If you want to enjoy in many people. These are 2-storey of half cottage; first floor has 1 double-size bed, and has space for extra mattress; while it has 3 single-beds upstairs and has also space for extra mattress. This cottage can accommodate the maximum of 6 guests. Of course you can stay at each MATO and TAKE cottage but if you hope, you can come and go by one balcony.So these cottages are most suitable to use in friendly families and groups. The greatest features of this cottage is able to use a wheelchair, so we also recommend for lame persons. These cottages sometimes fireflies come into the room and fly around a bed. That's very romantic.

This is our small cottage closest to the sea, just when you are stepping out from your doorstep, the green sea welcomes your eyesight and feels sea breeze; this fits best for either for the solo traveller or a couple. It has double-size bed with mosquito net; this is also suitable for a long term stay for the noise from cars will not reach here, only the sound of the waves rolling in the sea.
